The flotation results of single minerals revealed that the reagents scheme of CMCS/DDA could be used in the reverse flotation of quartz from hematite. The flotation tests of mixed hematite and quartz in the mass ratio of 4:1 were carried out in the presence of 60 mg/L collector and 12 mg/L depressant at pH 8.
