The role of abrasion and corrosion in grinding media wear

The wear of grinding media under wet grinding conditions is a net result of abrasion, impact, erosion and corrosion, but there has been some discussion and disagreement as to their relative contributions. The grinding media, as well as the mineral surfaces, are continually being exposed during the grinding operation.
